Help center
Good photos eliminate 80% of disputes. Buyers should be able to see the card's real condition before they pay — and you should have evidence on file if they later claim it arrived damaged.
The 8-photo rule
- Front — full card centered, no crop, neutral background.
- Back — flat lay, no glare, show wear if any.
- Top-left corner — close-up, fill the frame.
- Top-right corner — same treatment.
- Bottom-left corner — same.
- Bottom-right corner — same.
- Surface / foil pattern — angled to show holo, edges, or print lines.
- Cert label (graded) — readable cert number so buyers can verify with PSA/CGC/BGS.
Lighting
Indirect daylight by a window beats every ring light. Avoid direct sun (washes out detail) and overhead warehouse fluorescents (yellow cast). If you have to use phone flash, hold the camera at a slight angle so the flash bounces off the card.
Background
Neutral. Black or dark grey for raw cards; soft white for slabs. Don't shoot on a busy desk — buyers can't tell what's the card and what's the background.
