RareLink uses Stripe Connect Express. You connect your bank account directly to Stripe — RareLink never sees your account number or routing number.
What you'll need
- Government-issued photo ID (US driver's license or passport)
- Social Security Number or Employer ID Number
- US bank account number + routing number
- Phone number for SMS verification
Why Stripe asks for ID
KYC (Know Your Customer) rules. Stripe is a regulated financial services provider; they have to verify your identity to move money on your behalf. RareLink can't skip this, and neither can you.
If your account is rejected
- Re-check your name — must match your government ID exactly
- Verify your SSN/EIN was typed correctly
- Make sure your bank account is in your own name (no joint accounts)
- Email Stripe support — they review manually within 24 hours
If Stripe permanently rejects you, RareLink can't override it. Their decision is final for fraud, sanctions, and high-risk industry exclusions.
